About Mission Pehal
Mission Pehal is an initiative supported by Axis Max Life Insurance, implemented by Saaras Foundation in industrial and urban migration hubs across India. The programme works with migrant, Scheduled Caste, minority, and other deprived families — communities that often relocate in search of work and remain disconnected from the government welfare schemes designed for them.
Through household surveys, awareness campaigns, documentation and application support, and persistent follow-up with government departments, Mission Pehal helps families access schemes they are entitled to.
